Job Overview:
 
CB&I’s Technology Operating Group, provides a wide range of process technologies and related services to the petrochemical, petroleum refining, and oil and gas industries.  We are looking for a Human Resources Manager for CB&I Technology Beijing office. At CB&I, you will find a flexible, international environment receptive to new ideas.
 
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: 
  • Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will use your HR expertise in ensuring organizational effectiveness. 
  • In this role you will provide HR leadership and administrative support to operations management in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, talent management and office administration including facility management and travel support and administration
 
Basic Qualifications: 
  • A Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of which a minimum of ten years in managerial capacity
  • Good knowledge of China Labor law & its related statutory regulations, and HR market practices
  • Proven track record as HR business partner and office administration
  • Hands-on experience in HRIM, such as PeopleSoft and Taleo application, would be a plus
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a good eye for details and process-oriented
  • Strong analytical and structured problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High English proficiency required
  • Strong MS Excel skills required
Desired/Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of employment law and a demonstrated proficiency in HR competencies, such as consultation, relationship management and business acumen.
  • Must be an action-oriented, enthusiastic team player and a leader who has the proven ability to develop effective relationships and act on both strategic and tactical levels. 
Interactions:
 
Regular interactions with global HR team and local management teams on HR policies/programs/process
/systems implementation, training and development, sustenance and trouble-shooting as well as advising Beijing team and employees on any HR related queries or escalations. Candidate will also be working with Finance, Tax and Legal on specialized areas like payroll, tax/legal-compliant related matters.
